Metro Transit Police Announce Arrest in Stabbing of Station Manager

Metro Transit Police detectives today arrested Melissa Langley, 20, of Southeast Washington, DC, on charges of assault with a deadly weapon (knife) in connection with a March 15 incident at Stadium-Armory in which a Metro station manager was stabbed.
On March 15 at approximately 11:45 a.m., MTPD and medics responded to Stadium-Armory for a report of a station manager who had been stabbed by a female patron following a fare dispute. The station manager was transported to a local hospital and survived his injuries.
Langley was arrested without incident at her residence April 7.
