Chassis Plans Receives $1M Mass Transit Security System Contract

June 4, 2015

Chassis Plans recently received a $1 million order for computer systems used in mass transit rail systems.  Chassis Plans is providing rugged computer systems to operate critical station annunciation platforms for routine train and station information as well as passenger direction in the event of an emergency or terrorist attack.  This is a follow-on contract to upgrade Chassis Plans’ systems previously installed under the initial station build-out contracts.

Mike McCormack, president of Chassis Plans, said, “We worked closely with the New York Transit Authority on this project to qualify reliable long-life systems.  Our performance in previous contracts cemented this relationship and we’re pleased to contribute to our national security with this critical project.”
