David Warnock has joined Hatch Mott MacDonald as its west unit practice leader for rail and transit. Based in HMM’s Salt Lake City office, Warnock will be responsible for HMM’s rail and transit operations in the western U.S.

Warnock is registered as a Professional Engineer in California, Utah, Colorado, Montana, and Texas. He has designed and managed a wide variety of transportation projects, including roadway, track, structures, and support facilities for freight railroads, commuter rail, and light rail systems.
Some of Warnock’s notable projects include the Los Angeles Metro Blue Line and Gold Line Foothill Extension, the West Desert Pumping Project, Dumbarton Rail Corridor Study, Amtrak San Joaquin Expansion, Intermodal Hub Trax Extension, and Weber County to Salt Lake Commuter Rail.
