After four months of closure, Beaubien station will open Aug. 31.
As originally provided for in the schedule, the work will remain to be finalized, however, particularly at the outer canopy, bus loop, the landscaping, the natural ventilation shafts and some electrical work. Project completion is scheduled for January 2016 as well.
Completed at a cost of $ 3.6 million and funded 75 percent by the Ministry of Transport of Quebec under the Réno-Infrastructures program, work will ultimately do: - repair of structural slabs, finished flooring and waterproofing membrane of the kiosk; - the establishment of a new natural ventilation shaft; - replacement of the lighting of the kiosk and station and other electrical work; - replacement granite steps of; - repair and replacement of wall panels and tiles on the platforms; - the level of external Marquise update; - replacement of curbs, sidewalks, butterfly gates and fences; - the Adding trees and shrubs.
