Holiday Tree Lighting at Union Station Nov. 30
Nov. 24, 2015
With Thanksgiving and the December holidays speeding up faster than a BRT, Metro is planning the traditional Union Station tree lighting for 5:45 p.m. Nov. 30, at Los Angeles Union Station, 800 N. Alameda St. The public is welcome.
Santa will arrive via decorated cart to assist in the lighting and appear with children in photos. Following the lighting the All-American Boys Chorus will perform at about 6:30 p.m.
Tis the season for freeway stress … but don’t do it. Multiple modes of public transit are available to make the trip easy, including the Metro Red, Purple, Gold and Silver lines, along with many bus lines that stop at L.A. Union Station.
