The countdown has begun. National and international companies in the railway industry only have a few more weeks to ensure that they are represented at the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology, which takes place from Sept. 20-23. The application deadline for this outstanding event, the driving force for the entire market and a major impetus for business, is Jan. 7. At the present time well over 90 percent of the exhibition space has already been taken. As usual a high proportion of exhibitors, over 50 per cent, are from abroad.
Increased numbers of first-time exhibitors
A typical feature of this event is the continued increase in the number of first-time exhibitors, with over 200 of them making the journey to Berlin for the coming InnoTrans. More than half of them will be from abroad. In particular companies from Turkey, China and Taiwan are strongly represented. InnoTrans provides exhibitors with the ideal platform for establishing new business links and for presenting products on the global stage.
Armenia and Vietnam are making their debuts
Among the many countries that will be represented next year, Armenia and Vietnam will be making their debuts at this trade show. The Armenian company Thermorex specialises in the manufacture of bimetal thermostats and temperature limiters, and will be providing information about its products to trade visitors in the Railway Technology segment of the fair. Petech Corp. is from Vietnam and will be using the Interiors segment to present wastewater and toilet systems for the railway sector.
