Another UTA schedule change day is just around the corner. On Sunday, August 14, select rail and bus schedules will be changed to adjust connections, better utilize resources and, in some cases, implement Prop 1 improvements. Four routes in Davis and Weber counties will see service improvements using Prop 1 funds, and Prop 1 funding will facilitate the addition of a new route in Davis County.
Residents of Davis, Weber counties as well as those in the cities of Tooele, Grantsville and Stansbury will also see improved rider amenities as Prop 1 funds are implemented. Approximately 100 bus stops in Weber, Davis and Tooele counties are expected to receive cement pads, bus shelters, benches and garbage cans by the end of 2016. UTA will also partner with counties and cities to add bike lanes and sidewalks in areas that help riders connect to bus routes.
