The Central Mesa Extension received the American Public Works Association, Arizona Chapter, 2016 Project of the Year in Transportation of more than $75 million.
The Central Mesa Extension received the American Public Works Association, Arizona Chapter, 2016 Project of the Year in Transportation of more than $75 million. Accepting the award on August 11 at the El Conquistador Resort in Tucson were Zach Winward, Kiewit/Valley Transit Constructors (VTC); Marty Spong, Valley Metro; Jodi Sorrell, Mesa; Mark Ahlstrom, Mesa; Jake Wolff, Parsons Brinckerhoff/Wong JV; Simon Mueller, Parsons/VTC; Scott Sayles, Parsons/VTC.
The award recognized the project’s managing agency, design consultant, contractor and winning aspects of the project.
