Alstom submitted a letter of intent on Tuesday, February 6, signifying its willingness to contribute to the Digital Open Lab, an innovative partnership launched by SNCF Réseau, the Fédération des Industries Ferroviaires (FIF) and its Technological Research Institute (IRT) Railenium. Alstom has shown its determination to contribute to the digital transformation of the rail industry and the foreshadowing of the rail network 4.0 of the coming decade.
For this partnership, Alstom offers its HealthHub solution applied to rail equipment on the French National Rail Network. HealthHub is Alstom's predictive maintenance solution. Its goal is to replace preventive maintenance with maintenance based on the health of the rail equipment in order to achieve high availability objectives while stabilizing maintenance costs.
In order to proceed with the deployment of the HealthHub solution, Alstom offers the intellectual contributions allowing implementation of the following activities:
- Parameterization and commissioning of the application in the context of the Digital Open Lab,
- Specification of sensors, data digitization unit and interfaces with Healthhub,
- Support for the handling of the solution by the SNCF Réseau teams,
- Support for SNCF Réseau teams to implement optimized maintenance with the system.
