Whether they are computer scientists, economists or engineers, young talent is always in demand throughout the mobility sector. The career concept at InnoTrans helps young professionals to make contact with potential new employers. New this year: the InnoTrans Campus – the place to be for young professionals in the industry.
The InnoTrans Campus is special area dealing with the many aspects of encouraging young talent attracting personnel. In the future the recruitment of new staff will continue to play an important role in the mobility sector, which is why the career concept has been developed further for the upcoming InnoTrans.
At its new location in Hall 21e the InnoTrans Campus also features the RecruitingLAB – a networking area where exhibitors can rent a fully equipped, ready-to-use stand, which they can use to introduce themselves to young professionals. Bookings for the exclusive areas at the RecruitingLAB can now be made by all exhibitors at InnoTrans. Starting this year the Career Forum is now being presented as the Talent Stage, immediately adjacent to the RecruitingLAB. In this modern stage setting exhibitors can provide details about job vacancies and career prospects in their companies to trainees, students and young professionals. Another feature of the InnoTrans Campus is the Job Wall, presenting the latest vacancies being offered by exhibitors at InnoTrans, in the Virtual Market Place and also live in Hall 21e.
Outside the InnoTrans Campus all exhibitors can also order the established Career Point logo for their stands. Young professionals and jobseekers can search out the stands displaying this logo as a quick and easy way of identifying potential employers at the fair. The Career Point can be found on all digital and printed media, on the hall plans and on the exhibition stands, and vacancies are also displayed on the Job Wall.
Career Tours are in great demand, which is why they have again been included in the programme. Three times each day students and young professionals can join the guided tours of the fair. These are free and provide opportunities to meet with people on the various stands with whom they can discuss job vacancies and career prospects. The tours will start from the InnoTrans Campus.
Once again InnoTrans, in cooperation with international associations, will be presenting the Career Award for pioneering achievements and fresh ideas from young professionals from around the world. The prize is a trip to Berlin to attend InnoTrans. In 2018 the winners came from Germany, Canada, Italy, Australia and the USA.
The last InnoTrans was attended by young talent not only from Europe but also from Australia, Japan, China and Russia. “As the leading international fair for transport technology, InnoTrans provides the ideal platform for obtaining far-reaching insights into the mobility sector, and at the same time to meet with all the relevant stakeholders, from startups to global players”, explained InnoTrans director Kerstin Schulz.
More than 3,800 students from all over the world are expected at InnoTrans 2020.
