Travelling up and down to London on the Virgin Trains East Coast line is a familiar route to those living in the North.
As part of a £140m project to improve its’ customer experience, the recent and ongoing refurbishment of the 45-strong Virgin fleet means passengers can now travel with an improved service, in comfort and style. The trains and carriages feature new exteriors, engines and interiors, including new carpets, lighting and seating.
The new seats, from Diamond Seating, feature a range of Camira’s capabilities for the refurbishment project. Camira worked in partnership to supply bespoke seating; First Class includes luxurious black leather seat covers with embroidered head rests, made by its in-house Cut & Sew team. Standard Class has a distinctive Virgin feel with a three-tone red moquette on all seating, giving a new lease of life and extra comfort to passengers.
