A crash involving an Okaloosa County transit bus sent eight people to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.
The bus was traveling east when a westbound car drifted into the bus’s lane, according to Crestview Police Department spokesman Brian Hughes.
The car hit the bus head-on and caused it to overturn and land about 5 feet from a wetlands adjacent to the road.
The bus driver, all six passengers and the driver of the other vehicle were injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
