A man died early Tuesday morning after falling in a construction site while working on Sound Transit's East Link light rail extension project from Bellevue to Redmond.

A man died early Tuesday morning after falling in a construction site while working on Sound Transit's East Link light rail extension project from Bellevue to Redmond.
The man fell about 35 feet from a column in the work zone along State Route 520 around 3 a.m.
Sound Transit said girders were being placed at this stage in the project, although it's unclear exactly what caused the worker to fall during Tuesday's work session.
