JVC Professional Products Co., a division of JVC Americas Corp., announced that Masafumi (Masa) Nakano was named vice president of the JVC Security Division on July 16. The company also announced that John Grabowski has been promoted to national sales and marketing manager for JVC Security Division, and Ian Scott, former vice president of the division, has been promoted to vice president of operations for JVC Professional Products Company.
Most recently, Nakano led Sanyo’s U.S. security division for eight years. He has extensive experience in video security and surveillance, as well as in-depth knowledge of key vertical markets including the casino industry. “I’m excited to lead the JVC Security Division and provide our customers with the best analog and digital professional video surveillance solutions,” he said.

Nakano is based out of the company’s headquarters in Wayne, N.J.
