Transit Safety & Security Solutions Inc. is pleased to announce and welcome Alex Z. Wiggins as the company's chief security officer. Wiggins will be responsible for overseeing TSSS' Security Services division, as well as assisting with system safety and security management on Denver's Eagle P3 project.
Prior to joining the TSSS team, Wiggins was the deputy CEO with Metra in Chicago, Ill. With more than 20 years experience, Wiggins is a proven safety and security professional. He is well versed in all aspects of safety and security operations in the multimodal transit environment. With experience at the staff, management and senior executive levels, Wiggins has directed police, safety, and security operations for military, diplomatic, educational institutions and public transit agencies.
Wiggins was selected by the U.S. Department of State and DynCorp International to serve as an international police liaison officer. During this time he developed innovative approaches to train U.S. civilian, military and Iraqi police to conduct threat and vulnerability assessments and prepare emergency management and disaster recovery plans. Wiggins has achieved Gold Standard recognition for infrastructure security from the Department of Homeland Security with two different transit agencies. His prior experience also includes serving as a Seattle police sergeant.

Wiggins also holds a MS in Management from University Maryland University College and a BA in communications from Arizona State University.
