Metro Transit Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate Lawrence Nathaniel Harris, 25, of Northeast DC.

Metro Transit Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate Lawrence Nathaniel Harris, 25, of Northeast DC. Harris is wanted on charges of simple assault in the District of Columbia stemming from an incident on May 24, 2016, when — according to an arrest warrant issued yesterday — Harris allegedly assaulted a female passenger aboard a Largo-bound Blue Line train by placing a fluid-filled condom on the victim’s shoulder.

The victim, an adult female, was not physically injured. Medical assistance was offered but declined.Using digital cameras, Metro Transit Police detectives identified Harris as a possible suspect, and he was subsequently positively identified by the victim. After the issuance of the arrest warrant yesterday, Harris made arrangements to turn himself this morning in at a DC police station. He did not show up.
