"RTA's annual awards banquet offers us the opportunity to thank our operators, Transit Police and other staff and to honor them for another year of outstanding service to our customers and the community," said Joe Calabrese, RTA's CEO and general manager.
"RTA recently received one of the nation's highest awards for bus safety. It's the dedication and daily hard work of our phenomenal staff that make such achievements possible," he said.

The results often mean that staff have enhanced customer safety, or even assisted law enforcement professionals as they serve as extra eyes and ears throughout our community," he said.
"Every day we learn about the quick thinking and commitment to excellence of our employees.
