CityBus Celebrates Safe Driving at Annual Safety Banquet
CityBus celebrated best safety practices at the annual Safety Banquet on Sunday, October 21.
Operators and mechanics with pristine safety records from the previous year were recognized with an award, with special distinction for employees who have gone 10 and 20 years without an accident. Employees with safe driving records also had an opportunity to win a number of door prizes and cash.
“The Safety Banquet recognizes the employees of CityBus who, day in and day out, provide safe and reliable transportation to the Greater Lafayette community,” said Martin Sennett, general manager. The event also provides an opportunity for fellowship and fun, says John Connell, manager of operations. “We want to recognize the hard work of our employees, but we also want to encourage comradery and have a good time together.”
