IndyGo to provide free healthcare to all employees
IndyGo is partnering with employer health provider Marathon Health to offer primary care to employees and their family members at no cost.
“IndyGo prides itself on providing outstanding benefits for our employees, and our hope is that this partnership with Marathon will enhance that benefit even more,” said IndyGo President and CEO Inez Evans. “The value of having an onsite clinic, and now a network of clinics around the city, will increase access and decrease the cost of healthcare for our team of dedicated employees.”
Starting this month, IndyGo employees and their families will have nine convenient ways to access care teams who offer everything from physicals and chronic condition management to behavioral health counseling, CDL exams and medications. They can make an appointment onsite at the IndyGo Health and Wellness Center, visit one of seven Marathon Health Network centers located around Indianapolis or see a provider virtually.
“Our mission is to partner with employers to make it easier for their team members to access great primary care,” said Marathon Health co-Founder and CEO Dr. Jeff Wells. “Our proven primary care model delivered through employers has the power to transform healthcare in this country, and we’re excited to serve the incredible employees of IndyGo.”
Marathon Health is the only employer health company in the country to offer so many access points in a community, says IndyGo, adding it’s an important differentiator because more access leads to greater engagement, which drives healthier outcomes and savings.
The IndyGo Health and Wellness Center is located at 1501 W. Washington St. Marathon Health Network centers are in downtown Indianapolis, Traders Point, Greenwood, Plainfield, Carmel, Washington Square and a seventh location will open in Fishers next month.
