The Aftermarket Parts Company, operating at NFI Parts™ is now offering more products to increase safety and cleanliness for motor coach and public transportation entities.
NFI Parts says it takes pride in its ability to help keep people moving as a provider of parts and support for the coach and transit industries. NFI Parts remains open for business and has focused efforts on product offerings to help operators protect drivers and passengers, as well as clean and disinfect vehicles.
“We’ve seen great response to these new products and collaborating with our customers has been a key factor in the success of our Clean and Protect Product Line,” said Brian Dewsnup, president of NFI Parts. “Our customers are 100 percent committed to the safety of their drivers and passengers and many have placed orders for these products over the last two weeks.”
To ensure customers have access to the solutions they need, the Clean and Protect Product Line now includes:
- Driver protection barriers with more choices for all makes and models of buses and coaches.
- UV lights for use in HVAC systems to kill viruses and bacteria. They are mounted inside the ductwork and sanitize air with UVC light.
- Higher MERV rated air filters.
- Fresh air ventilation with a new retrofit kit that turns roof hatches into ventilation fans to keep air fresh inside the vehicle.
- Retractable partition that can be installed in various spots throughout the vehicle and used as a droplet barrier.
- Retractable belt partition to section off seats or full sections of vehicles to promote social distancing.
- Cleaning and disinfecting products.
- Hand sanitizer and dispensers.
- Disposable, individually wrapped masks and dispensers.
- Fogging equipment and solution.
“The fogging products have been something we’ve gotten a number of questions on,” continued Dewsnup. “Our option is hand-held and does not require special PPE to use. Five vehicles can be sanitized before you need to refill.”
NFI Parts says it is working closely with fellow NFI OE businesses, New Flyer, MCI, ADL and ARBOC while staying engaged with industry associations to both provide guidance and respond to requirements that are of the highest priority to customers.
