Nova Bus opened its new Development Center in Saint-Eustache, Quebec, March 4 with an inauguration ceremony in the presence of the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, federal Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, Linda Lapointe, MP for Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, Benoît Charette, provincial Minister of the Environment and the Fight against Climate Change and MNA for Deux-Montagnes and Pierre Charron, Mayor of Saint-Eustache.
The new Development Center occupies a total of 22,000 square feet over three floors and was developed to create a work environment that is both conducive to creativity and compliant with strict ergonomic standards for the sake of its 150 employees.
"These new offices will be a place of excellence in research and innovation, which will foster the continued advancement and development of Nova Bus vehicles," said Louis Côté, senior director, New Product Development & Business Transformation.
The company is focusing its efforts on bus electrification and sustainable mobility technologies in order to offer products that are always increasingly reliable, safer and more environmentally friendly.
