Urban Solar is pleased to join the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES). The IES is the recognized technical authority on illumination. For more than 100 years, its objective has been to communicate information on all aspects of good lighting practice to its members, the lighting community, and consumers, through a variety of programs, publications and services.
“Joining the IES provides us with additional educational tools and references we can use to support our customers,” says Urban Solar President Jeff Peters. “For our customers to develop a bid or RFP that will result in a lighting system they are happy with, it is important that they understand the technical side of specifying lighting systems. IES provides industry standard references that help us educate our clients to ensure they end up with a great installed product.”
