Tolar Manufacturing Company announced it is pursuing a response to Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s RFP that calls for the procurement and installation of Bus Stop Amenities over a three-year period.

Additionally, the potential supplier scope of work may include steel & aluminum tube and sheet material, aluminum extrusions, plastics, polycarbonate sheet, hardware, powder coat, safety supplies, freight transportation, material storage and other stipulated deliverables for the fabrication and installation of bus shelters. Potential suppliers must have proven manufacturing or manufacturing supply experience.
All suppliers’ manufacturing facilities must be certified or compliant with the Quality Program requirements as directed by ANSI/AQS Q9001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or demonstrate compliance with an equivalent program. All products must meet Buy America provisions under 49 CFR Part 661 and meet extremely high quality and reliability requirements.
