The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority joined federal, state, local and community stakeholders to begin the Willowbrook/Rosa Parks station renovation project with the demolition of a building where a new civic plaza, bike hub, customer service and security center will be built.
The Willowbrook/Rosa Parks station has been in service since the Blue Line opened in 1990 and is the fourth-busiest station in Metro’s system. The improvements will result in a station that will greatly enhance the Metro customer experience and provide a quality resource to the local community.
