Talgo Commences and Ramps Up Overhaul Work in Milwaukee
Talgo received the first vehicle from Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority in its Milwaukee facility on June 15th, 2017.
On September 22, 2016, LACMTA awarded a contract to Talgo to improve the performance of the Metro Red Line A650 HRVs by replacing and/or overhauling critical Vehicle systems and subsystems.
TriMet, C-TRAN and Portland Streetcar Officially Launch Hop Fastpass
TriMet and partners C-TRAN and Portland Streetcar celebrated the launch of Hop Fastpass — a new and better way to pay your transit fare seamlessly throughout the Portland-Vancouver region. Hop is an electronic-fare payment system. Riders can now use contactless payment devices such as a Hop card to pay their fare and in the coming weeks, riders also will be able to use a contactless bank card or smartphone with a mobile wallet connected to a bank card to pay for their trips.
CCW Delivers Final Rehab Buses to City of Cerritos
Complete Coach Works made the final delivery of 5 buses to FirstGroup PLC in the city of Cerritos.
The 30-foot buses received complete makeovers along with major component replacements consisting of engines, transmissions, suspension parts, radiators, batteries, power steering pumps, surge tanks and exhaust systems.

Mike James joined the city of Phoenix Public Transit department as the city’s first BRT Administrator. He has more than 20 years of transportation experience and was most recently managing rail and transit corridors in Seattle, which included streetcar operations and seven new bus rapid transit corridors.
