Alexandria Transit Company (DASH) is again selling the Student Summer DASH Pass now through August 31, 2017. Alexandria middle and high school students can purchase the pass and use it for unlimited rides on all DASH buses between May 1 and August 31, with a proper student identification card shown at the time of purchase.
This year the Student Summer DASH Passes are pre-loaded onto a SmarTrip card ready for purchase and use. At this time, the pass cannot yet be purchased and placed on an already existing SmarTrip card. The pass can only be used on DASH buses. Additional cash value can be loaded onto the SmarTrip card, along with other transit passes, for use on Metrorail and other regional transit agencies.
To receive the Early Bird Special rate of $50.00, passes must be purchased between by May 31. On June 1, the pass price will increase to $65.00.
