The new Trip Planner is powered by Google Transit, which has all of the train and bus schedules, rider alerts and can track real-time MetroBus information.
A new version of St. Louis Metro Transit’s online trip planner aims to provide a more accessible resource for riders and ensure everyone can easily plan their trips.
This new version will replace our current Trip Planner, which will be discontinued at the end of April.
The new Trip Planner is powered by Google Transit, which has all of the train and bus schedules, rider alerts and can track real-time MetroBus information. To plan a trip, enter a starting point and destination, and when to travel. The itinerary will show step-by-step instructions for the commute. Any rider alerts potentially impacting the trip will be displayed under the route, and the color of the trip times can help users see the status of their bus:
Green: On schedule, updating in real-time
Red: Delayed, updating in real-time
Black: Not updating in real-time, schedule time is displayed
In addition to the online trip planner, customers can download the mobile Transit app to plan their trips, pay their fares, view schedules and see real-time arrival information.
