Maximo Perez has been named a supervising construction engineer in the New York City office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.
In his new position, Perez is responsible for the placing in service of communications equipment and the review and approval of operational and maintenance manuals for communications systems such as fiber-optic and telephone networks, radio, public address, CCTV, fire alarm, and security systems for transit construction projects.
He comes to Parsons Brinckerhoff after a 30-year career with MTA-New York City Transit, most recently serving as administrative engineer manager-Capital Program Management Station Rehabilitations, where he managed the communication engineering staff for the agency’s station rehabilitation office.
Perez received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from The City College of New York and is a registered professional engineer.
