GA: DSE 2015 Announces Call for Speaker Proposals
DSE has announced that it is now accepting speaker proposals for its all-new 2015 educational conference taking place March 10-13, 2015, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas.
According to Richard Lebovitz, DSE editorial director, DSE is now organizing Educational Oversight Committees to be comprised of industry experts who will recommend topics, review proposals and approve presentations for each of the eight tracks – including three dedicated to end users – and pre-show events in the DSE 2015 conference. These Educational Oversight Committees will evaluate each proposal for its insight, perspective, relevance, usefulness and timeliness.
While topics other than those recommended will be considered, the proposal must make a clear case for its inclusion. DSE is especially interested in proposals from end-users, network operators, ad agencies and AV/IT systems integrators willing to share their real-world digital signage experiences.
All but the Fundamentals track will be geared toward advanced topics, reflecting the maturity of the industry and attendee interest in taking their communications networks to the next level and adopting new technologies.
Based on feedback from the DSE Advisory Board and past attendees, tracks will include both traditional lecture/panel discussion presentations as well as collaboration sessions featuring breakout groups that allow peer-to-peer networking. The latter will require collaborative topics and session leaders/facilitators.
Prior to submitting your proposal, please review the track descriptions and topic suggestions at the DSE website.
Because there will be 32 general conference seminars, applicants are advised that space on the DSE 2015 conference program is limited, and DSE will be able to use only a certain number of the suggested topics and proposals.
Proposals should align with DSE 2015 Tracks, which include:
• Digital Signage Fundamentals
• Digital Signage in Spanish
• Digital Out-of-Home Networks
• Advertising Agencies
• End-User Verticals
• Systems Integrators
Proposals can also be submitted for the following DSE 2015 Pre-Show events: DOOH Network Operators Conference, Digital Communications Across the Enterprise and Digital Signage Guided Installation tour.
Lebovitz said, “DSE’s conference education will focus exclusively on what is most relevant to attendees in 2015 and provide a greater opportunity for peer-to-peer networking and engagement than the program has provided in the past.” He added, “Our attendees, who include 40 distinct end-user types from the U.S. and over 70 foreign countries, are primarily interested in digital signage communications and interactive technology solutions to more effectively engage their customers, employees and other stakeholders. We are therefore looking for thought-provoking topics that will help our attendees achieve those goals.”
Applicants may download a Speaker Proposal form from the DSE website. Proposals are to be submitted to Brenda Keys, office manager by July 14, 2014.
