Port Authority now provides an interactive map that makes it easier to find transit routes and service locations.
The map allows users to view all routes, transit stops, park and ride facilities, locations where you can purchase ConnectCards and other useful information.
Clicking on any feature opens a pop-up window of information with relevant links. This will help riders identify fare and zone information, view the path of any bus and light-rail route, find a bus or T stop, and link to schedules.
This is the latest mapping improvement recently offered by Port Authority. The authority also introduced improved print and online system maps in 2014.
Additionally, the authority has hired CHK America to introduce a transit wayfinding system in Allegheny County that would include new maps, signage and digital tools to help riders. The first of those items are scheduled to be installed in 2015.
