Avail Technologies announced Sept. 1, that its real-time passenger information mobile application myStop Mobile is now available on the Android platform through the Google Play Store.
The myStop application allows public transit riders on many of Avail’s partner agencies to view route, stop, and vehicle location information on a map in real time as part of the myAvail platform. The app also gives riders the ability to plan trips, receive departure alerts and view public service messages in one easy to use application.
“We’re in the business of integrating smart, reliable, and convenient ITS solutions that help our partners reach their riders wherever they may be,” says Rick Spangler, vice president of customer relations at Avail. “This release of myStop on the Android platform is just one more step on the road to increasing public transit ridership by providing solutions that engage riders and help them feel like they are in control of their transit experience.”
Agencies that already have Avail’s CAD/AVL solution installed are eligible to activate services through myStop.
