Corner Media is partnering with TransitScreen to provide real-time transit information throughout Washington, D.C.
Corner Media’s digital screens display full motion ads in multiple locations with high foot-traffic such as L’Enfant Plaza, Union Station, and along D Street, G Street, and M Street. Their partnership with TransitScreen enables Corner Media to add to their ad supported content TransitScreen’s real-time display of all public transportation options, specific to each of their locations, such as subway, bus, train, bikeshare, and carshare.
“Adding TransitScreen’s software to Corner Media’s digital displays creates tremendous value for our clients and the commuters who pass our screens every day,” says Joe Kunigonis, president of Corner Media. “For DC commuters, the real-time information helps to make more informed decisions about how they’re getting around the city. For advertisers, displaying transit information in specific locations increases the consumer dwell time at our screens, giving advertisers the opportunity for more unique impressions. The solution can also be a powerful tool for local municipalities when they need to make public announcements about street closures, weather or other emergencies.”
Corner Media’s initial integration with TransitScreen in DC has been successful and the two companies are jointly expanding to other markets.
"Time is the only thing all people share and wish we had more of. Together with Corner Media, we will reach a broader audience and save more people's time," said TransitScreen Co-Founder and COO Ryan Croft. "This partnership makes cities smarter and improves property values."
