DSE to Present “Introduction to Digital Signage: A Roadmap for Success”
Digital Signage Expo (DSE), has announced that its four-part Digital Signage Fundamentals Seminar Program at DSE 2016 designed specifically for End Users, AV Professionals, Systems Integrators or anyone considering creating a digital communications network, will include an hour-long session titled, “Introduction to Digital Signage: A Roadmap for Success.”
On Wednesday, Mar. 16 from 9-10 a.m., Alan Brawn, principal and co-owner of Brawn Consulting, will present an introductory session designed to help attendees understand the key elements that go into each and every digital signage project. The session will provide a roadmap of the key elements of digital signage and a step-by-step process that can be used as a continuing reference to fully understand what needs to be done and in what order to insure the success of a project.
DSE Advisory Board members recently had the opportunity to comment on what to consider when planning a digital signage network and offered a variety of insights, including:
“Without considerable upfront planning and post-installation support, a network is doomed to failure. The network should have clearly stated objectives and initial network plans should account for future network expansion," says Margot Myers, director of global marketing & communications, The Platt Retail Institute.
“One of the biggest mistakes I’ve seen clients repeatedly commit is underestimating the amount of time and effort required to successfully launch and maintain a digital signage network. A network needs a solid foundation upon which can be built an efficient organizational structure," says Pat Hellberg, principal, The Preset Group.
Registration for “Introduction to Digital Signage: A Roadmap for Success,” or any of the DSE 2016 educational conference seminars, which are sponsored by BroadSign International and are eligible for Digital Signage Expert Group (DSEG) certification renewal credits, is available online at www.dse2016.com.
