Nomad Digital has recently achieved certification to ISO 14001:2015 for its UK operations and scope. The internationally-recognized certification demonstrates Nomad’s systems, processes and procedures are mature and robust, that they are regularly audited externally, and that the company is continually striving to improve how it identifies, manages, monitors and controls environmental issues. Adding the environmental standard to its current certification is the next step of its compliance strategy, which is maturing well.
Customers benefit from the knowledge that Nomad has built an effective environmental management system into both its strategic business plan but also its day-to-day operations. From a regulatory perspective, this is a real benefit to customers, but also gives Nomad the ability to demonstrate to prospective customers it’s continually driving improvement in environmental matters, both in the work place and the field.
The certification also clearly demonstrates Nomad's senior leadership involvement and also engagement from its employees, globally.
John Mills, Nomad QHSE manager, said “This certification conveys to our customers our commitment to offer solutions considerate of environmental parameters and regulations. Our Business Management System is fully integrated and certified against ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 now, which is a great achievement for Nomad as we strive to continually improve all business areas.”
Reece Donovan, Nomad CEO added “This is a great step for Nomad to demonstrate we have ISO 14001:2015 in place and we will build on this platform to further improve our systems and processes for our customers across everything we do in relation to environmental management. Working in the rail industry we need to be sensitive to environmental issues and this certification shows how highly we value their importance.”
