To use Wi-Fi on MARTA:
Riders go to their Wi-Fi settings and select the network name based on their rail car number or bus (e.g. MARTA_Rail_Guest_673 or MARTA_Bus_Guest).
Review and accept the terms and conditions to connect to the internet.
Riders who move from one mode or transportation or from one railcar to another, they will need to re-open your settings and select the proper Wi-Fi network.
Wi-Fi Lite relies on cellular-based technology and speeds will vary throughout the route. Downloading large files or streaming video is prohibited due to limited bandwidth.
MARTA is expanding Wi-Fi and cellular services to include all 38 rail stations. Installation has been completed at Five Points, Peachtree Center, and Dome Stations. MARTA Mobility vehicles will have access by mid-year.
As with any Wi-Fi source, MARTA riders are asked to be cautious about transactions performed and information they choose to share.
Customers are encouraged to download MARTA’s On-The-Go app for up-to-date service information and schedule changes.
