Canadian Innovation at its Best
The Canadian Urban Transit Research and Innovation Consortium has announced it is holding its 2nd Biennial Technology Innovation Forum: Low-Carbon Smart Mobility in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to bring together innovators finding low-carbon innovations for transit and mobility options.
The Pitch
Designed as a “Dragon’s Den” / “Shark Tank” -styled event, the Forum will allow technology innovators — including large, medium and small companies, as well as transit agencies and fleet operators — the opportunity to pitch projects related to low-carbon smart mobility to both Canadian and global collaborators.

What is the purpose of the Pitch?
The Pitch is intended to allow CUTRIC Stakeholders (industry primarily) to pitch upcoming project ideas in low-carbon smart mobility innovation to achieve the following goals:
- Find potential collaborators at other companies and/or universities and colleges to help bring the project to fruition in Canada.
- Convince varying levels of government of the economic and environmental value of low-carbon smart mobility innovation projects in Canada.
- Highlight a company's innovation capabilities and job-creation capabilities in Canada's low-carbon smart mobility eco-systems.
CUTRIC will integrate all 6 minute Pitches in to its Federal Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) – Stream 4 bid.
