VEAM CIR M12
ITT Veam’s CIR M12 Connectors are bayonet coupling circular connectors ideal for harsh environment rail communication applications. A combination of Veam’s reliable and robust FRCIR connectors and M12 and Coax contacts, the CIR M12 supports up to 10 gigabit Ethernet, MVB, WTB, and Video lines within the same connector. Installed on the latest generation of Italy’s high speed trains, CIR M12 delivers an industry leading one Gbit per second Ethernet transmission up to Class FA ISO/IEC 11801 channel performance. Available as 1 or 4-way variants with 2, 4 and 8 pole options, the series has a minimized circular footprint and is fully compliant with the latest state-of-the-art rail standards for fire and smoke. Developed specifically for rail vehicle-to-vehicle interconnection, CIR M12 connectors deliver optimal sealing in addition to extreme shock and vibration resistance in the harshest rail car environments.
