IndyGo Names Lauren Day Manager of Marketing and Communications
IndyGo recently named Lauren Day as its new manager of marketing and communications. She will be a key member of the business development team, which oversees IndyGo's community outreach efforts, marketing and advertising, and transit planning.
Bryan Luellen, director of public affairs at IndyGo states, "We're excited to have Lauren Day join the IndyGo team. Her connections in Indianapolis will be invaluable in engaging the community in transit improvement projects."
As the manager of marketing and communications, Ms. Day will oversee the day to day operations of community engagement and media marketing campaigns. She will play a key role in the public outreach efforts for the Red Rapid Transit Line project and the opening of the new downtown transit center.
Before joining IndyGo, Day worked for Indianapolis Cultural Trail Inc. where she was integral in the pre-launch planning and successful implementation of the Indiana Pacers Bikeshare program. A lifelong downtown Indianapolis resident, Lauren holds a masters degree in urban planning from Ball State University and an undergraduate degree from Indiana University.
