Alstom Participates in Discussion of Intelligent Mobility in Smart City Business America

From March 28 to 30, Alstom will participate in the largest urban management event in Latin America, the Smart City Business America Congress & Expo, organized by the Institution SmartCity Business America.

From March 28 to 30, Alstom will participate in the largest urban management event in Latin America, the Smart City Business America Congress & Expo, organized by the Institution SmartCity Business America. 

The event will bring together potential business opportunities for cities, considering the accelerated globalization and the development of urbanization. Public managers, CEOs and experts from various fields will present ideas and success stories to encourage and contribute to the quality and efficiency of municipal administrations.

At the time, Alstom will present its technologies that contribute to the concept of smart cities, such as Metropolis, model for high capacity subways, and the Citadis, Tramway, recognized as a modal that promotes integration of systems, and other solutions that add significantly to the urban mobility planning.

More than 3000 participants are expected this year. There will be over 40 speakers that will permeate discussions between Brazilian and international leaders who will share information of various themes and experiences. There will still be an exhibition area of advanced technologies. Alstom will be present with a booth of 26m2.

Participating in the Smart City Business America is to strengthen our commitment to the country in this more intelligent management context, "says Michel Boccaccio, president of Alstom Brazil and vice president senior of the company in Latin America.

The event will also include the OUN-Habitat and Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, which will discuss issues related to urban financing, Public Private Partnership and other associative models that seek to improve the quality of public services and urban infrastructure.
