Houston Metro Supports Flood Recovery Efforts
April 21, 2016
As the number of people impacted by the flooding grows, Metro is meeting the call for help and encouraging flood recovery efforts. Buses are bringing people rescued from flood waters to higher ground, delivering supplies and transporting those who've been evacuated back to their homes to pickup essentials.
“In difficult times like these, we can always count on neighbors to help neighbors," said Metro Chair Carrin Patman. "Metro will do everything we can to assist. We are honored to be able help."
