Ever wanted to do yoga or read poetry aloud on a bus? Riders will have the chance April 23-27 when Columbus College of Art & Design students transform a Central Ohio Transit Authority bus into an interactive art installation and public conversation hub.
Mobilize is a collaborative installation and community programming initiative located on a COTA bus stationed at Broad and High streets each day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Programs are free and open to the public, and include discussions, performances, poetry readings and more.
The project is a partnership between CCAD, Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District and COTA. Programs have been organized by: CCAD’s Art & Social Practice Artists Nashwa Bawuah, Alexa Bolton, Betsy Corcoran, Katy Daiber, Allison Duemmel, Eris Lynn, Tylan McCollum, Brilee McPherson, Laura Toogood, Kim Webb, and Gabriel Yahl; professional and emerging visiting artists; guest speakers; and the general public.
