INIT will launch URpass, an account-based mobile ticketing platform at the APTA TRANSform Conference being held Oct. 9-12 in Seattle, Wash. URpass, powered by HanseCom, a wholly owned subsidiary of init SE, empowers small and mid-sized agencies to quickly introduce mobile ticketing in a modular and cost-effective manner.

INIT says the platform offers a customer-centric approach using digital sales via the URpass app, an online store or account-based ticketing. Hosting, operation and ongoing development are managed by INIT enabling a fair and cost-effective pricing model based on the pay-per-use principle: Only pay for the features used.

Configure fares with just a few clicks

Customized account-based fare structures and mobile ticket portfolios can be created by means of a Microsoft Excel upload, for instance, providing the foundation for digital ticketing sales. Additional functionality incorporates the ability to adjust fares, offer seasonal tickets, or introduce a best-price structure called fare capping. Fare edits and setting configurations are easily done by the agency in the URpass customer support and administration portal.

Bird’s eye view of all customer info

The URpass customer support and administration portal provides a dashboard that features standard reports to help agencies keep tabs on how many tickets were sold per day, how much revenue was generated, which channels were used to purchase tickets, etc. These reports allow them to keep an eye on trends, identify changing customer behavior, and adapt strategies to align marketing and sales activities accordingly.

Mobility as a Service and loyalty programs

URpass offers the ability to expand by integrating various transport options like e-scooters, bike sharing and car sharing services. This complete mobility platform enables customers to search for any service, book it, and take care of billing in one app. It also empowers agencies to expand access to mobility services in their region.

Loyalty programs reward riders with bonus points for different promotions or collection campaigns. In URpass, rules for awarding loyalty and bonus points can be easily configured. The platform automatically records all collected points and considers the corresponding discounts when customers purchase tickets.

URpass allows small to mid-sized agencies to reduce administrative effort and cash handling costs while delivering a quick and cost-effective mobile ticketing solution.
