IndyGo has introduced new accessibility settings on its website. The new feature will allow website visitors to choose their preferred accessibility profiles and content settings when viewing online content.

Accessibility profiles featured through the settings include:

  • Vision Impaired Profile – Enhances the website’s visuals, making the content accessible to most people experiencing visual impairments such as degrading eyesight, tunnel vision, cataracts, glaucoma and others.
  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Friendly Profile – Reduces distractions to help those with ADHD and Neurodevelopmental disorders navigate the essential elements on the website more easily.
  • Blind Users (Screen Reader) – Enables motor-impaired persons to operate the website using designated keyboard shortcuts and screen readers.
  • Content, Color and Orientation Adjustments – Allows users the flexibility of customizing the website content to best suit their needs, including font size, font color and much more.

Other adjustable accessibility modes that are offered include Seizure Safe, Cognitive Disability and Keyboard Navigation (Motor) profiles. Users can also enjoy the benefit of having the preferred modifications automatically saved for when they return to the site later.
