Joe Kraft has been promoted and will assume full-time duties as the Customer Service Representative for Jefferson Lines at the Bismarck Bus Depot.
Kraft has been working at the depot as a part-time Jefferson Lines CSR and custodian. He began working for the organization in 2003.
“With the years of experience he brings, Joe is a natural fit for the position,” said Transit Director Robin Werre. “He knows all the ins and outs of the position, as well as the systems used, and he can basically just hit the ground running.”
With Kraft taking over the full-time position the hours for the bus depot will expand. The depot will now be open for ticket purchases from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day, and will also be open on Saturday and Sunday from 8-9 a.m. and 3-4 p.m.
A Bismarck native, Kraft has lived in the capitol city all his life, except for the four years he spent with the U.S. Marine Corps. His hobbies include collecting Green Bay Packers memorabilia and working in his yard.
