Port Authority’s Board of Directors on June 26 adopted an improved service guidelines process that makes decision-making about transit routes more transparent and inclusive.
The guidelines are used by Authority staff to set service goals, design appropriate service levels, establish minimum performance levels, evaluate service and prioritize future service changes. They apply to all public transit services offered by the Authority, with the exception of the Mon Incline and paratransit services.
The new guidelines call for an annual service report, which will be provided publicly each spring.
A copy of the service guidelines document is available online.
