The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority’s Board vice-chair Ken Reed was recently honored by the American Society of Public Administration with the Public Service Recognition Award.
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority’s Board vice-chair Ken Reed was recently honored by the American Society of Public Administration with the Public Service Recognition Award.
The award recognizes quality public service in the Greater Cincinnati Area at all levels and areas of government. The 28th annual awards ceremony, which took place during Public Service Recognition Week, recognizes and honors the men and women who serve our nation as federal, state, county and local government employees.
Reed was elected to a second term as SORTA board vice-chair in January of this year. Reed serves as manager of loss control services for the Ohio Transit Risk Pool, where he is responsible for the oversight of all loss control, training, and risk auditing activities. He joined the SORTA Board in 2011.
