The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) will hold a public open house for Transit Plan 20/20 on Wednesday, June 1 from 12:00 pm and continue until 6:00 pm, so the public may attend at their convenience. The open house will take place at the new Administration Building and there will be free parking in CCRTA’s parking lots directly across from the building.
The goal of the open house is to obtain additional feedback regarding Transit Plan 20/20 proposed route alternatives for future consideration. Transit Plan 20/20 consultants will have a short presentation at noon, as well as an opportunity for the public to participate in a survey related to individual routes across the service area. These route concepts include a new downtown shuttle, expanded Southside service, and a new seasonal beach shuttle. In addition, there will be an opportunity for the public to learn about new transportation planning tools such as Google Transit and the Transloc application that has real-time information on buses in route.
