J. Thomas Hodges and Suzanne Burke have been appointed chair and vice chair, respectively, of SORTA for teh unexpired officer terms for this year until the next election in early 2013.
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) Board has appointed J. Thomas Hodges as chair and Suzanne Burke as vice chair for the unexpired officer terms for this year until the next election in early 2013.
They have been serving as interim chair and vice chair since May 1.
J. Thomas Hodges: Hodges is an attorney licensed in Ohio and Kentucky. His legal practice focuses on serving individuals on civil litigation and criminal defense matters. He has been on the SORTA Board since 2010.
Suzanne Burke: Burke is chief executive officer of Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio. She also serves on the boards of Every Child Succeeds; the Leadership Council of Human Services Executives; and ITN Greater Cincinnati. Burke joined the SORTA Board in 2011.
