Cleveland RTA's Finance Executive Receives Women Who Move the Nation Award

Loretta Kirk, deputy general manager of finance and administration for the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is the public transportation honoree and recipient of the 2017 Women Who Move the Nation Award.
Loretta Kirk, deputy general manager of finance and administration for the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is the public transportation honoree and recipient of the 2017 Women Who Move the Nation Award, presented by the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) in Washington, D.C on March 15.
Kirk has been a member of COMTO for 37 years. She served on the COMTO National Board of Directors for 16 years and was Board Chair from 2006-2010. She has held numerous posts for COMTO at the national and local levels during her tenure there.
“RTA is proud to congratulate Loretta for her dedication to managing the financial resources of our organization. She also works diligently to advance the concerns for Small Businesses and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and oversees critical functions of our organization that help move us forward. She is a worthy recipient of this award,” said CEO and General Manager Joe Calabrese.
A graduate of Cleveland State University and a certified public accountant, Kirk is an active mentor and developer of young transportation professionals. She also received the Gerald A. Anderson Sibling Award from the COMTO for her service to the transportation industry.
