MTA to perform maintenance, repair and replacement work on Sixth Avenue Line as part of FASTRACK Program

Maintenance, cleaning, repair and replacement work will be performed by Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) crews along the Sixth Avenue D and F Subway Lines in Manhattan.
The work will begin May 10 and will last for two weeks through May 21.
While crews from MTA New York City Transit perform track maintenance, repair and cleaning in the corridor, MTA Construction & Development will use the platform and track access created during this time to advance elevator replacement work at 34 St - Herald Sq.
